A little about me
and why I love real estate
I love real estate, I always have. I grew up studying market trends, watching new developments and meeting real estate agents whenever I could. Now as the Broker/Owner of The Wentworth Company, I am able to apply that commitment to the real estate business for the benefit of our clients and for the management of my company. I am fortunate to have been licensed to sell real estate in Colorado since 2004. This has allowed me to see the local, state and national market trends through some historically high and low moments. Experience for which I am grateful, and put to good use on a daily basis. Following several years working in customer service for some of Fort Collins’ most well-respected builders, KEM Homes, Hartford Homes, and Classic Custom Builders, I decided to focus on real estate. I started by specializing in apartment-to-condo conversions and sales. I later transitioned into private investments with a local real estate investment & development firm, representing investor buyers and developers.
After subsequent years with a couple of Northern Colorado’s more prestigious firms, including Coldwell Banker-Residential and Windermere, I decided the time had come to provide my management and marketing skills directing to our clients. I founded and opened The Wentworth Company-Real Estate Professionals with my husband Kevin. This allows me to apply my years of experience managing/mentoring agents directly to our growing team, as well as offering Kevin’s high-level marketing skills directly to our clients. This combination helps us provide uniquely boutique and yet highly professional experience for our clients.
I recently completed my second round of the highly intensive, client-focused, real estate sales training program, Ninja Selling. This was once again, a worthwhile investment in my business for the benefit of my clients. This past year I was appointed to serve as a mentor for the Colorado Association of REALTORS, Leadership Academy. This allowed me the opportunity to help guide and teach our future real estate leaders and to refresh my own experience and skills.
